ABOUT
No matter how much the music industry evolves, one constant remains: the undeniable power of a passionate live performance. Caleb Hart embodies that power. With a natural stage presence rooted in his upbringing on the small Caribbean island of Tobago, Hart brings fresh, honest, and electrifying energy to every stage he steps on. Over the past twelve years, he has performed more than 1,200 live shows across North America, and around the globe; including hundreds of shows in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean.
By 2019, Hart had already released five records and numerous singles and collaborations, including chart-topping albums with his former band Tasman Jude. That year, he boldly declared that his sixth project, 11 (created in collaboration with Trinidadian super-producer Track7) would be his most compelling work to date. Released on September 11, 2019, the 12-track genre-spanning album delivered on that promise. It racked up over 100,000 streams within days and has since surpassed 2 million streams.
While the global pandemic temporarily paused Hart’s touring schedule, it didn’t diminish his drive. As soon as live performances resumed, demand for his shows surged once again. Between 2021 and 2024, Hart began releasing new singles while quietly laying the groundwork for multiple upcoming records.
On November 1, 2024, he released his seventh studio album, Emancipation, produced by Jamaican-Canadian creative Jayden Brown. The album was accompanied by five music videos, which collectively amassed over 750,000 views on YouTube within just three months. Later that year, Rolling Stone - Argentina named him in their feature “Reggae Around the World: 20 Artists to Discover”, spotlighting his singles “Good Life” (with Buckman Coe) and “Distractions”, co-written and produced by long-time collaborator Rhett Reilkoff (aka Rhettco).
In January 2025, Emancipation debuted at #27 on the CKUA charts and steadily climbed to #1. The album’s impact continued to grow, earning Hart the 2024 American Songwriter “World Song of the Year” award, a nomination for “Global Artist of the Year” at the 2025 Western Canadian Music Awards (WCMAs), and three nominations at the Intercontinental Music Awards, where he took home the win in the Reggae category.
Balancing his roles as a father, artist mentor, and Berklee College of Music student, Hart remains deeply committed to his craft. He continues to tour and is currently focused on his upcoming full-length album Forward to D’ Roots, as well as new music with his collaborative project Sonic Alley.
